Easter

Alayna and I enjoyed a nice Easter together this year. Derek was out of town bowling in the Men’s national tournament so it was just us girls. We woke up on Sunday morning to find that the Easter bunny came to the house and left Alayna with lots of goodies and gifts. After she tore through her baskets we got ready for church. The church service was very neat, the multi-media things they do at that church are really very cool. After church we headed to our friend’s the Spridco’s house for Easter brunch and to spend time with friends. They had make your own waffles and omelets as well as lots of other great things to eat. They also had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids that were there. Alayna had fun looking for the eggs and got a book and bubbles as prizes from the hunt.

It was really nice to spend Easter with the Spridco’s and some of our other friends. It made missing Easter with my extended family a little less hard to take. Once we got home from the party Alayna and I both took a nice long nap and when we woke up with skyped with my family at their Easter gathering. It was nice to see them all and for all of my extended family to see Alayna in her cute Easter dress.
