Trip to Milwaukee - Father's Day weekend

Okay, I know I have been TERRIBLE this summer with updating my blog. So, I am going to fill you in on the major happenings around the Eoff House this summer. Starting way back in June. Sorry!!!

Father’s Day weekend Alayna and I made a trip to Milwaukee to visit friends and family for the weekend. We left Derek at home to have some quiet time and time to play softball, golf and do whatever he wanted for Father’s Day. Though, we wish he could have made the trip with us.
Alayna and I arrived in Milwaukee in time for dinner on Friday night. I have been craving a good ol’ Wisconsin Fish Fry for months and months, so of course my family obliged and took us to the Hideaway in Franklin for a great fish fry. I also accompanied it with a Spotted Cow since we cannot get that in Texas.

On Saturday, Alayna got to spend the entire day with her Auntie “T”, my sister Trenni. Trenni took her to the zoo to spend the day and they had an awesome time. Alayna loved seeing all the animals, especially the lions and they of course road the train around the zoo. My spoiled little girl got a cute stuffed lion to bring home with her and she now sleeps with it every night.

As Alayna was spending the day with her auntie, I was able to spend some quality time with some girlfriends. My friend Alexis is pregnant and expecting a little girl (her first) at the end of August. So, I was able to surprise her at her baby shower and have a chance to see the glowing mama and one of the wonderful hosts my good friend Sarah. We usually take a girls trip in the spring along with my friend Trish, but unfortunately our schedules didn’t work out this time around, so I decided it would be just too long till we touched base again so I wanted to come home and see them. It was great to spend the afternoon catching up and meeting a bunch of Alexis’ friends from all the parts of her life. It was such a nice shower (thanks Kim and Sarah for helping with the surprise and throwing a fabulous party!)

On Saturday night Alayna and I went out to dinner with my parents, my Grandma, my Aunt Mary, cousins Nikki and C.J., brother Bryon, sister Trenni and C.J.’s girlfriend Maddie.
