The last weekend of October my aunt, uncle and cousin were in town. Derek and I took Friday off and we took Alayna to the Green Meadows Petting Zoo and pumpkin farm in Grand Prairie. Alayna loved the animals at the state fair so much that we thought this would be fun to take her and give her more of an opportunity to interact with the animals.
She loved it, she got to hold a chicken and she fed the goats again. However, she did not like the geese. I think because she was one of the few people their size, one of the geese came and pecked at her. She was not hurt at all, however it gave her (and me) quite a scare. We continued on to some other animals but we didn’t enter the corrals anymore, we just pet and looked at them from outside of the fence.
Alayna did enjoy the hayride. She liked waving bye-bye to everyone and pointing at the trucks, airplanes, trees and other things we saw along the ride.
We ended the trip taking a chance in the maze and chasing after daddy and then she got to pick out a pumpkin.
