In mid-march during the family visit, we all went to the Dallas Zoo one day. The last time Alayna had been to the Dallas zoo, she wasn't even 2 months old and slept the entire time. So, I was very excited to take her and see her reaction to the different animals. The Dallas zoo opened a new section pertaining to animals of Africa, with Elephants, lions, giraffes and many others. It was very cool, but the coolest part was being able to feed the giraffes.
We saw lots of neat animals that day and Alayna enjoyed the Children's zoo, petting the goals and climbing on the playground equipment. She also rode the Merry-go-round and really enjoyed that also. Here are some pictures from the day.
