Second wedding...Youth tournaments

So, the last half of month long trip was another couple of crazy weeks. I spent the week after the holiday in Miwaukee working from home. This was really nice because it allowed me to see friends and family and spend some time with my parents. On Friday the 10th Derek, Trenni and I headed up to Green Bay for my cousin Nikki's wedding. Trenni and I were both bridesmaids so we head to head up to rehearsal. We had such a great time. Everyone in the wedding party was so fun to be with and it was really nice to be able to spend time with my Aunt Danielle her new husband Andrew, my cousin Jade and Andrew's son Phil (which I guess now is my cousin by way of marriage). I haven't seen any of them since my wedding last year and it was really nice to be able to spend time together and hang out. They live in CA so we only get to see them maybe once a year or every other year at holidays.
Nikki and Brad's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony and as it got dark out the tent glowed with twinkling lights and candles. It was such an amazing atmosphere and if know my family, you know it was also a fabulous party! The dance floor was packed the whole night and an appearance was made by Doobie Dave to help the coulple celebrate their marriage.
The day after the wedding, Derek and left early in the morning to get him back to Milwaukee to fly back home to Texas. After I dropped him off at the airport I continued on to Indianapolis, where I spent the next 2 1/2 weeks at our Youth bowling tournaments. This was the longest 2 1/2 weeks of my life. Living out of a suitcase and eating out every night is not a lifestyle I enjoying living. But, the events ran smoothly and thankfully I had my great friends and co-workers there to live through it with me.
Now, I am finally home and hopefully will be here for a while. I do have one trip back to WI for the famous Kugeestock in a few weeks but it is quick weekend visit. I hope everyone's summers are going well!
