Because all of our belongings are all over the place and we will be in Seattle for Christmas and Derek is in Texas the rest of the time we decided that we wanted to celebrate Christmas a little early with Alayna.
So, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving Alayna woke up to a visit from Santa.
She has been a very good girl this year so she got lots of great stuff.
She got some new outfits that will have her ready for the Wisconsin winters, she also got a Fisher Price Zoo, with animals and a zoo keeper that has a need little carrying case so she can take it with her places, a Christmas book, Mickey Mouse Christmas movie and her big gift from Santa was a Fisher price Rock and roll tryke.
It is a bike that can be a rocker right now and then in the summer we can either push her on it or she can pedal herself.
It is kind of like a Big Wheel bike for those of us 80’s children.
I don’t really think Alayna gets the whole Christmas thing yet, she was just excited to get presents. She enjoyed ripping off the wrapping paper and giving it to Grandpa to throw away. She does love riding her new bike though and takes up lots of room in Nana and Grandpa’s living room rocking on it. It was fun to watch her get into ripping presents open and excited to see what it is inside. Each Christmas will get more and more fun as she learns about Santa and Baby Jesus and all that the holiday is known for.
Here are some pictures of her opening her presents:
She got a Dora toothbrush kit, so she is showing Nana where her teeth are.

She is very excited for all the new outfits she got.
