This past Saturday was my parents annual Brewer Tailgate Party. This year it had a Pirate theme, which stems from my mothers spectacular performance at last year's bash.
To say it was a great event is an understatement. The weather was perfect, drinks were flowing and tailgate games were played. People had a great time drinking, doing shots and pilaging the village before the game. The game itself was great too. Sheets pitched a complete game shut-out and with some home runs the Crew won easily 6-0. My parents sure do know how to throw a party, they became famous (or should I say infamous) with their interview on FSN which was followed by angry emails and blogs by some local radio personality. Who I figure is just jealous he wasn't invited. All fun was had in the name of a good cause. We raised over 200lbs of food and over $300 for the Hunger Task Force. All in all, it was a fun time. Here are some pics from the day....
