Walking!!!

I can't believe but Alayna is walking on her own! She took her first steps on Wednesday, February 16th. We picked her up from daycare and her teacher announced she took 2 steps on her own. I was extremely disappointed that she did this milestone in the presence of her teachers and not at home with her parents, but nonetheless, I was so proud of my baby girl! Below is a video of her walking. She already in the last week and a half is more confident and taking more and more steps each time she walks. However, she is a stubborn little girl and will only walk when she wants to and if we want her to and she is not in the mood, she throws herself down on the ground. She also still knows she can move faster crawling so we have to bribe her sometimes to get her walking. And that is why it is called baby steps. :-) Enjoy the video of my not-so-baby walking.
